Air-entrained concrete mix is a newer mix that is designed for special purposes such as improving the durability of existing concrete or to help freeze-thaw. This mix also can help increase workability on concrete while staying in a “plastic” state. This mix by itself is less-durable than high-performance or high-strength and takes longer to dry than fast-setting.
